ELF Super Cup Super Saloon Series Format
The ELF Super Cup is a series for Super Saloons run over five rounds. Each round contested by a minimum sixteen-car field consists of a Time Trial, two 15-lap Heats, a 2-lap Pole Shuffle and a 25-lap Feature.

In the Time Trial each driver completes one timed lap to determine grid positions for Heat One, with the fastest starting on pole and the slowest from the rear. For Heat Two, grid positions are a reversal of Heat One.

Grids for the Feature are determined by accumulated points from Heats One and Two. The top six point scorers go through to the Pole Shuffle to determine Grids 1 to 6, and the seventh down to last placed point scorers start in that order from Grid 7 downwards.

For the Pole Shuffle the challenging driver has lane choice. Drivers placed sixth and fifth on points race first over two laps; with the losing driver relegated to Grid 6. The winning driver is challenged by the fourth placed driver; with the losing driver relegated to Grid 5. This relegation continues until all grid positions are filled.

The Feature, run over 25 laps, determines the winner for each round. Trophies are awarded for the 1st, 2nd & 3rd placed drivers across the finish line.
To help ensure full fields of sixteen cars minimum for all round, a driver, if unavailable, can nominate another driver to compete in his car; and he will collect the allocated points. This option's available for one round only. A driver, if the situation arises and he can't race his own car, can drive a replacement car and still collect the allocated points.
Points are allocated for the Heats and Feature placings each night and accumulate over the five rounds to determine the overall series winners. Points are allocated to non-finishing cars in the order of retirement. The points structure is graduated as incentive for drivers to finish as high up the field as possible.

Passing points are also on offer as incentive for drivers to pass. 1.5 points are earned for every car passed. A driver starting from Grid 14 and finishing in tenth place would be deemed to have passed four cars and would collect 6 passing points.
