Points are awarded for the Heats and Feature placings each night and accumulate over the five rounds to determine the overall series winners. Points are awarded to non-finishing cars in the order of retirement. The points structure is graduated as incentive for drivers to finish as high up the field as possible.
Passing points are also on offer as incentive for drivers to pass. 1.5 points are earned for every car passed. A driver starting from Grid 14 and finishing in tenth place would be deemed to have passed four cars and would collect 6 passing points.
